Now that it is summer, I'm looking back on our school musical, Aladdin. I was so honored to play the role of Jasmine, but it was spending roughly 4 months with some of my favorite people that really made my 7th grade year. Being a part of this cast for so long definitely made us close. Aladdin was a great experience, and I loved every second of it. Closing night was very special because our director, Mrs. Hodges-Thrutchley, is retiring. Aladdin was her last show at Indian Hills. It is always sad when a show is over because you want to hold on to the experiences and fun times you had. After all, there's no business like show business!
